We are launching a Loyalty Program for the users where they would be able to earn Smartcoins by purchasing products from Meesho. Refer to Terms and Conditions below for further insight.
Meesho Smartcoins is a new currency that we have introduced to run this program, 1 Smartcoins = 1 Rs.
Users can earn smartcoins by ordering products from Meesho, but only on selected products where the earn tag is shown on the platform. For Eg, User orders a t-shirt of 300 Rs, and there are 10% coins available on that product, then the user will earn 30 coins for that order.
Information about earning the coins is displayed on Catalog listing pages and product description page of the product to convey to users that they will be earning some coins.
Coins will be added to users’ wallets once the return period for the product is over, i.e usually 7 days after the product is delivered.
Users can use their coins balance while placing orders, an option will be shown to them on cart or payment screen to redeem the coins.
Users can redeem coins maximum upto 5% of the order value, for eg if user is ordering a product of Rs 300, 5% of 300 is 15 Rs, hence user can redeem max upto 15 coins on that order.
Smartcoins will have an expiry of 30 - 60 days. If the User contacts us stating they are unable to redeem the smartcoins, please ensure to check whether the validity has expired.

Q1) Where would I be able to check User’s Smartcoins earned on the Admin Panel ?
Ans. - The visibility of the Smartcoins on the Admin Panel would be introduced in the later phases.
Q2) Is there a set list of products where the User would be able to earn Smartcoins?
Ans. The products can keep on changing, on which the User would be able to earn Smartcoins. It would be visible to the user on the catalog page if purchasing the particular product would earn them Smartcoins.
Q3) How many coins can User earn per order?
Ans. Users can get upto 10% coins basis product value, e.g. if product is of 300rs user can earn 30 coins.
Q4) Once the smart coins are used and returned to the wallet, will the expiry date be changed or remain the same ?
Ans. The expiry date will change. For example, 10 days was left in expiry when the user used the coins, when refunded the same 10 days will be given back to users.
